Between game drives, somewhere in Kenya — June 2022.

Before I planned safaris for other people, I was the one lying awake before our own — wondering if I’d gotten every detail right.

Over the years, that love of travel has taken our family across more than 20 countries on five continents — from the Galápagos to the fjords of Iceland, the temples of Southeast Asia to the plains of Kenya. That range is why I can plan a journey almost anywhere — a cruise, an anniversary in Italy, a honeymoon — but East Africa is the one I keep coming back to.

Before the safaris
Long before travel became my work, it was the thing that grounded me. I spent years in education, first as a teaching assistant and then as a classroom paraprofessional, and I hold an MBA in Human Resources and Marketing. If that background taught me anything, it’s how to keep a dozen moving parts in order — complex schedules, logistics, and the patience to see them through. I’ve always been my family’s planner, whether I’m managing our rental properties or mapping out a multi-city trip. We’re based in Wesley Chapel, Florida, and for me, travel has always been the best way to step back, reconnect, and see the world with fresh eyes.

The trip that started it all
In June of 2022, my family took a ten-day safari through Kenya. I’ll be honest — in the weeks before we left, the logistics made me nervous. Traveling with my husband and our two sons meant coordinating visas, multiple camps, and making sure our vegetarian diet would be looked after out in the bush. But the moment we arrived, the worry fell away. We explored Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, and the Masai Mara, and it was genuinely transformative. The moment I still think about is waking up to the view of Mount Kilimanjaro — the peak catching the morning light, my family right beside me. Pure magic.

Why I started Wesley Chapel Travel
Planning that trip made me realize something: the deep research and coordination that stresses most people out is the part I love. A safari is a bucket-list dream for so many people, but choosing the right camps, sorting the bush flights, and handling the border logistics can feel overwhelming. I started Wesley Chapel Travel to carry that weight for you — so you can simply arrive and take it all in, without the headache.

Who I love to help
The people I most love helping are busy families and professionals who want a seamless, high-touch adventure but don’t have the hours to build it themselves. I want you fully present on your trip — never wondering where your driver is, or whether the camp knows about your requests.

My promise
I’ll sweat the small stuff so you don’t have to. I obsess over the details others gloss over — perfectly timed airport transfers, the right room layout for your family, your exact needs confirmed directly with each property before you ever arrive.

Beyond the planning
When I’m not planning trips, you’ll usually find me cooking or baking, or staying active — chasing a running goal, on the pickleball court, or grounding myself with yoga and Pilates. I love making health-conscious, plant-forward Indian meals for my family. Because vegetarian cooking and an active life are so central to how I live, I know firsthand how daunting it can feel to travel with specific dietary and wellness needs. That’s exactly why this matters so much to me — I want every client to feel nourished, respected, and completely cared for, wherever in the world they are.

Tell me about the journey you’re dreaming of.
